Greenhaus scoops sustainability award at Insider NW Residential Property Awards

Greenhaus has been awarded the sustainability prize at this year’s North West Insider Residential Property Awards.

The sustainability award recognises residential schemes that have shown a commitment to environmental sustainability and decarbonization, and celebrates examples that go above and beyond the norm.

Designed for the English Cities Fund and operated by registered provider Salix Homes, the 96-unit scheme is one of the UK's first medium-rise Passivhaus apartment development and one of the northwest's largest. All of the apartments are being offered at affordable rents.

Passivhaus buildings are designed in their nature to provide a comfortable environment for residents, but importantly can significantly reduce energy bills. This is achieved through a whole-building approach to efficiency, high-quality construction, which is independently tested and verified.

The award not only recognises our dedication to sustainability but also underscores the importance of sustainable architecture in shaping a more resilient future for our communities.”
