Cycle to Work Day is an annual, national event which aims to encourage workers across the UK to cycle to work for at least one day, in a bid to increase the number of people commuting by bike.

This year, seven Buttress employees have taken part, clocking up a combined distance of 110 miles – that’s the equivalent distance from Manchester to Penrith.

The lion’s share of the miles were completed by Managing Director, Gavin, who made a mammoth 43 mile trip from Crewe to Ancoats, with others cycling in from locations across Greater Manchester including Sale, Didsbury and Swinton.

Keeping active and taking care of the environment is an important part of the office culture here at Buttress, so we’re pleased to get our on bikes to show our support for initiatives like Cycle to Work Day.
